The Scrapbooks

I have included a few photos in these galleries which records our time together as Police cadets in the Willis Brown Wing.
The photographs are not in any particular order or follow a time-line and hopefully they will envoke memories of those many different adventures we shared as 16/17 – 18 year olds back in 1963 – 1964. The main source of photos was from John Thurston (and a later cache from Dick Tracey’s album) appear in the following galleries…
We celebrated our 50th anniversary on the P&O Criuse ship The Pacific Pearl. As expected this was a real hoot and enjoyed by those who attended. As promised I have created some galleries of our adventures (under the travel heading) of photographs taken on the trip and included a few “group” shots. Denis Orme has also donated some of his unique photos to the cause. If anyone wants higher rez images of any of the photos appearing – contact me and I can send out individually. Contact me anyway – and I can send out a few images of interest.
Special thanks to Kerry and John (organisers) and to the crew of the Pacific Pearl for making our 10 days at sea as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

25 Year Reunion – Trentham, 1983

50 Year Reunion – Pacific Cruise, 2013

Before we sailed – we held a mini-reunion at the Waterfront Restaurant giving the opportunity for those who were unable to make the cruise to spin a few yarns, have lunch and see us off. Colin Dalziel made the Trip from Christchurch but regrettably was unable to make the trip upon medical advice.
