On the 2nd November several of us (representing the Kapiti Camera Club) travelled to Hunterville and photographed a truely rural sporting event…known as the Hunterville Shemozzle – the following galleries attempt to capture some of the atmosphere and character of this unique annual contest.

Look carefully - the race is up the hill, then along the ridge, down a mud slide, through a creek and back to the main street obstacles
Along the way one has to grab a bull's testicle in the mouth - err no hands allowed
